Baked Ham with Pineapple

Ingredients

  • 1 (6 to 8 lb.) spiral ham
  • 1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Canned Pineapple Slices in 100% Pineapple Juice
  • whole cloves
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 12 maraschino cherries

Method

  1. Place ham in roasting pan.
  2. Score the surface with shallow diagonal cuts, making diamond shapes; insert cloves into diamonds.
  3. Cover and bake at 325° for 1-1/2 hours.
  4. Drain pineapple, reserving 1/4 cup of the juice.
  5. Combine brown sugar and reserved pineapple juice; pour over ham.
  6. Arrange DOLE® Pineapple Slices and cherries on ham using toothpicks.
  7. Bake, uncovered, 30-45 minutes longer or until a thermometer reads 140° and the ham is heated through.
