Grilled Tropical Burger
It's always a good time for grilled pineapple on a burger!
About This Recipe
Ingredients
- 1-1 1/2 lb lean ground beef
- 1/4 cup honey mustard barbeque sauce
- 1 can (15.25oz) Dole® Tropical Gold® Slices, drained
- 4 sliced kaiser or hamburger rolls, sliced
- 4 slice cheddar cheese
- 4 large red or green lettuce leaves
- 4 red onion, thinly cut
Method
- Grill meat until no longer pink inside, brushing occasionally with barbeque sauce. Add pineapple slices to grill the last 5 to 10 minutes, and cook until golden brown.
- Toast buns on grill.
- Place burger on bun. Top with cheese, grilled pineapple slice, lettuce and onion slice. Cover with bun top and serve.
