Mixed Fruit Raspberry Sorbet
Refreshing berry flavors that beat the heat!
Ingredients
- 3 cup DOLE® Frozen Mixed Berries
- 1 cup fresh raspberries
- 1/3 cup raw agave nectar
- 1/4 cup water
- 1 tsp fresh lemon juice
Method
- Place all ingredients in a medium saucepan over medium-high heat and cook about 10 minutes until the berries begin to break down and the sauce thickens.
- Remove pan from stove and cool for one hour. Pour contents through fine mesh sieve to remove all or most of the seeds from the berries.
- Pour strained berry mixture into an empty CREAMi™ Pint up to the MAX FILL line. Place storage lid on pint and freeze for 24 hours.
- Remove pint from freezer and remove lid from pint. Place pint in outer bowl, install CREAMi Paddle onto outer bowl lid, and lock the lid assembly on the outer bowl. Place bowl assembly on motor base and twist the handle right to raise the platform and lock in place.
- Select SORBET. When processing is complete, transfer to a bowl and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh raspberries, if desired.
