Pineapple Casserole
This is the classic casserole which is a great side dish.
Ingredients
- 1 can (15.25oz) Dole® Tropical Gold® Chunks
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted
- 2 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- 25 buttery crackers, crushed
Method
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Lightly coat 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.
- Drain pineapple; reserve 1/4 cup juice. Stir together reserved juice, sugar, flour and butter, in medium bowl. Stir in pineapple tidbits and cheese, until blended. Spoon into casserole dish.
- Bake 20 minutes. Reduce oven temperature to 300°F.
- Sprinkle crushed crackers over casserole. Continue baking 20 minutes or until heated through.
