Pineapple Cheese Ball
A great make ahead recipe to serve at parties, everyone will love!
Ingredients
- 1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Canned Crushed Pineapple in 100% Pineapple Juice
- 2 package (8 oz. each) cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup green or red bell pepper, chopped, divided
- 1/4 cup diced green onion, divided
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1/2 tsp onion salt
- 1 cup pecans, diced
Method
- Drain pineapple well and pat dry.
- Beat cream cheese until smooth. Stir in crushed pineapple, 3/4 cup bell pepper, 3 tablespoons green onion, garlic and onion salt, until blended. Place on a sheet of plastic wrap; shape into a ball and cover. Refrigerate 4 hours or overnight until firm.
- Roll cheese ball into pecans remaining 1/4 cup bell pepper and 1 tablespoon green onion. Serve with assorted crackers.
