Blue Velvet
Dazzle your friends with this fabulous original cocktail, from our very own Dole Executive Chef James!
Ingredients
- 3/4 oz gin or non-alcoholic gin
- 3/4 oz white rum or non-alcoholic rum
- 1 oz blue curacao
- 2 oz DOLE® 100% Pineapple Juice
- 1/4 oz lemon juice
- 1/2 oz egg whites
- - orange bitters
Method
- Prechill a 6 oz coup glass and set aside.
- Combine all ingredients in an iced cocktail shaker, and shake for 20 seconds to chill.
- Remove ice and dry shake for an additional 10 to aerate the cocktail.
- Pour into a coup glass which has been atomized with 2 sprays of orange bitters.
- Garnish with mint sprigs and matchstick of crystalized ginger, if desired.
