Grilled Chicken and Cheese with Pineapple

A hearty and fast lunch for busy people

Ingredients

  • 2 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
  • 2 slice Swiss cheese
  • 2 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 slice (20 oz.) DOLE® Canned Pineapple Slices in 100% Pineapple Juice, drained
  • 3 basil
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Method

  1. Layer 1 slice of bread with sliced chicken, swiss cheese, pineapple and basil; top with the other slice of sandwich bread.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Add assembled sandwich to skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes; flip and cook until cheese is melted.
  4. Remove from heat and serve.
