Grilled Chicken and Cheese with Pineapple
A hearty and fast lunch for busy people
Ingredients
- 2 slices whole wheat sandwich bread
- 2 slice Swiss cheese
- 2 oz boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 slice (20 oz.) DOLE® Canned Pineapple Slices in 100% Pineapple Juice, drained
- 3 basil
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Method
- Layer 1 slice of bread with sliced chicken, swiss cheese, pineapple and basil; top with the other slice of sandwich bread.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add assembled sandwich to skillet and cook for 2-3 minutes; flip and cook until cheese is melted.
- Remove from heat and serve.
