Ingredients (4)
  • 1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Pineapple Slices, drained
  • 1 pkg. (3 oz) flavored gelatin (berry, lime, etc.)
  • 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup cold water
Directions
  1. Open the bottom end of the can, using a can opener (preferably a side can opener).  Drain juice and slices from can.

  2. Stir boiling water into gelatin in bowl at least 2 minutes until dissolved.  Stir in cold water.  Chill until mixture thickens slightly.

  3. Spoon about 1 tablespoon gelatin into bottom of can, top with pineapple slice.  Repeat with remaining gelatin and pineapple slices.  Pour any remaining gelatin into can.  Cover and refrigerate until set, at least 4 hours.

  4. Note:  To unmold the gelatin, dip the can (up to the rim) in a bowl of hot water for five seconds.  Invert the can onto a plate and open the pull top lid off and use to push mold out.
