A simple, healthy recipe for mashed potatoes.

Ingredients 5


1-1/4 pounds small or medium DOLE® Idaho Red or Gold Potatoes
1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup lowfat milk
2 tablespoons healthy "butter" spread
  Salt and ground white or black pepper, to taste



1-1/4 lbs small or medium DOLE Idaho Red or Gold Potatoes


Place whole potatoes (do not poke) into microwave-safe dish; cover. (If covering dish until plastic wrap, poke small hole in plastic.) Microwave on HIGH for 10 to 15 minutes or until potatoes are tender when poked with a fork. Use oven mitts to remove dish from microwave, carefully remove cover.


1/2 cup plain nonfat yogurt
1/2 cup lowfat milk
2 tbsp healthy "butter" spread
Salt and ground white or black pepper, to taste


Mash potatoes in dish with potato masher or large fork. Add yogurt, milk, spread, salt and pepper, to taste; mix well. Microwave for 1 to 2 minutes more to heat through, if necessary.
