Romaine lettuce topped with almonds, mandarins and bacon
1/4 cup vegetable oil2 tablespoons sugar2 tablespoons vinegar1 tablespoon chopped fresh basil or1 teaspoon dried basil, crushed1/4 teaspoon salt1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
Whisk together oil, sugar, vinegar, basil, salt, and hot sauce until blended. Chill until ready to serve.
1 pkg. (11 oz.) DOLE Leafy Romaine or other DOLE Salad blend6 slices bacon, cooked, drained and crumbled2 green onions, thinly sliced1 small zucchini, thinly sliced1 can (11 or 15 oz.) DOLE Mandarin Oranges, drained1/4 to 1/2 cup cracked black pepper sliced almonds
Toss together salad blend, bacon, onions, zucchini and mandarin oranges, in large bowl. Pour dressing over salad; toss to evenly coat. Sprinkle almonds over salad.
