Quick and savory sweet and sour chicken

2 cups MINUTE® White Rice, uncooked
1 can (20 oz.) DOLE® Pineapple Chunks
2 tablespoons cornstarch
1 tablespoon sesame oil
6 individual TYSON® Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs, cubed
1 large green bell pepper, diced
3 tablespoons KIKKOMAN® Hoisin Sauce
2 tablespoons KIKKOMAN® Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1/2 cup (optional) cashews, toasted and chopped

Steps

STEP1
Ingredients

1 tablespoon sesame oil
6 individual TYSON Boneless Skinless Chicken Thighs, cubed
1 large green bell pepper, diced
3 tablespoons KIKKOMAN Hoisin Sauce
2 tablespoons KIKKOMAN® Soy Sauce
1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon garlic salt
1/4 teaspoon ground ginger
1 cup cherry tomatoes, cut in half
1/2 cup (optional) cashews, toasted and chopped

Direction

Heat large skillet over medium-high heat; add oil and brown chicken for 5 minutes.  Add bell pepper; cook for an additional 3 minutes.  Stir in pineapple juice, hoisin sauce, soy sauce, brown sugar, garlic salt and ginger and cook for an additional 5 minutes.  Add pineapple, cherry tomatoes and cornstarch mixture, cook until sauce thickens. Serve over rice and top with cashews.

STEP2
Ingredients

2 cups MINUTE White Rice, uncooked

Direction

Prepare rice according to package directions; set aside

STEP3
Ingredients

1 can (20 oz.) DOLE Pineapple Chunks
2 tablespoons cornstarch

Direction

Drain pineapple; reserve juice.  Mix 1/4 cup juice with cornstarch; set aside.
