A sweet spread which is great to spread over bread or bagels for breakfast or brunch.
Calories per serving
- 1 can (8 oz.) DOLE® Crushed Pineapple
- 1 (8 oz.) light cream cheese, softened
- 1 tablespoon sugar (optional)
- 1-1/2 teaspoons grated lemon peel
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 4 to 6 bagels, split, toasted
- Drain pineapple, reserve 1 teaspoon juice.
- Beat cream cheese, pineapple, reserved juice, sugar, lemon peel and vanilla until blended.
- Spread 2 tablespoons mixture on each bagel half.
