You will need

  • 1 can (398mL) DOLE® Tidbits
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 tsp ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 3 tbsp butter or margarine, diced
  • 2 cups packaged baking mix (e.g. Bisquick)
  • 2 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 1 egg

Method

  1. Drain pineapple, reserve 2/3 cup of the juice. Pat pineapple dry.
  2. In medium bowl, stir together brown sugar, cinnamon, walnuts and butter; set aside.
  3. In large bowl, beat baking mix, granulated sugar, egg and reserved juice for 30 seconds, until combined. Spoon into 9-inch round baking pan sprayed with nonstick vegetable cooking spray. Top with half of the walnut mixture, then pineapple and finish with remaining walnut mixture.
  4. Bake at 400°F for 20 to 25 minutes. Let cool.
