Mini Pineapple Bacon Galettes

You will need
- 1 cup DOLE® Crushed Pineapple, well drained
- 6 slices lean bacon, cooked, crumbled
- 1 tbsp maple syrup
- 1 tsp all-purpose flour
- 1 pkg (400g) refrigerated pie crusts dough
- 1 egg
- 1 tbsp water
Method
- In small bowl, stir together drained pineapple (3/4 cup), bacon, maple syrup and flour. Set aside.
- Cut 10 (3-3/4 inch) circles from pie crusts (5 from each), using biscuit cutter or drinking glass. Place on cookie sheets sprayed with vegetable cooking spray.
- Spread a generous tablespoon of pineapple filling over each crust leaving about 1/4 inch at edge.
- Fold in crust a bit, overlapping dough to make pleat edges.
- Beat egg and water in small bowl.
- Brush edge of crusts with egg mixture.
- Bake at 400°F for 16 to 18 minutes or until crust is golden.
