You will need

  • 1 1/2 cups sliced strawberries
  • 1 tbsp granulated sugar
  • 3 medium bananas, peeled and cut in half lengthwise
  • 1 can (398mL) DOLE® Pineapple Tidbits, drained
  • 6 small scoops vanilla ice cream, or sorbet of any flavour
  • 1/2 cup fresh blueberries or raspberries
  • - fresh mint (optional)

Method

  1. Mash strawberries with sugar in medium bowl; set aside.
  2. Arrange banana halves in 3 banana split dishes. Divide pineapple tidbits down center of each dish.
  3. Place 2 scoops of ice cream on top of each; spoon mashed strawberries over sorbet. Top with blueberries. Garnish with mint, if desired.

    Tip:You are welcome to use red, golden, or both types of raspberries.
